We are incredibly humbled to be amongst some of the top studs of 2025. 2025 has been another enormous year and we are already looking forward to 2026. We can't thank everyone enough for their continued support & are so proud of the representation of Dorpers and White Dorpers in the below article - Team Tullinga.
The following snippet has been taken out of 'The Land', written by Matt Dalgleish.
The 2025 selling season confirmed just how mainstream the non-Merino ram breeds have become in Australia's prime lamb and shedding sheep sectors. From Australian White and Dorper operations through to Poll Dorset, White Suffolk, SheepMaster, Ultrawhite and composites, studs across the country reported fierce competition for rams that could drive growth, fertility and finishing performance in commercial flocks.

While seasonal conditions were mixed, confidence in lamb and mutton demand, along with the ongoing shift toward easy-care and self-replacing systems, underpinned strong clearance rates and lifted averages at many of the leading ram sales.
The national Top 50 ranking highlights the studs that not only achieved standout prices, but also backed them up with depth, volume and consistent buyer support. To qualify for ACM Agri's Top 50 Ram Stud Sales in 2025, studs had to meet clear and consistent criteria.
Each program needed to offer 50 or more rams in a single-vendor sale, achieve an 80 per cent or higher clearance, and have the sale results reported in ACM Agri publications.
Post-auction and private sales were not included, and ewe sales were excluded because they were offered too irregularly to compare across studs.
Where a stud conducted more than one eligible on-property or single-vendor sale during the year, the figures were combined so that the ranking reflects the total number of rams offered and sold, and the overall annual average, rather than just a single event.
This year, thanks to a neat tie at number four, we actually have 11 studs featured in our top 10 list.

Average $5406
Dorper, White Dorper
Tullinga's Dorper program at Condobolin delivered a perfect clearance, selling all 126 rams to average $5406 and topping at $16,000.
The on-property sale emphasised structurally sound, early-maturing rams with the carcase and doing ability required for rangeland and mixed farming environments.
The 100 per cent clearance and firm money through the middle of the catalogue spoke to strong support from repeat Dorper users who value the breed's ability to turn rough feed into saleable weight.
Tullinga's selling agent remarked that the stud's $16,000 top ram stood out for his balance and carcase, saying he was "one of the most complete young Dorpers we've put up, deep-bodied, structurally sound and with the kind of muscling the market rewards".
